At Terartai, we are committed to respecting and protecting the intellectual property (IP) rights of our artists. This ensures that their creative work is acknowledged and valued, providing them with the recognition and financial benefits they deserve. Here is an overview of our IP policies:

Artists' Rights

• Intellectual Property Rights: Our artists retain ownership of the intellectual property of their original artworks. This means they have full control over the use, reproduction, and distribution of their creations.

• Co-creation and Usage Rights

• Workshop and Class Creations: When artworks are co-created and developed together with Terartai and the artist, using themes and concepts ideated and generated by Terartai (and Terartai's clients), whether created during Terartai's offline class sessions, Terartai's online sessions, and/or continued at home, Terartai holds the right to curate and use these artworks for production into various items. This collaborative process helps transform their art into tangible products, promoting their talents to a broader audience.

Agreement Duration

• Term of Agreement: The agreement between Terartai and our artists spans a period of 5 years. At the end of this period, artists have the option to regain complete rights to their artworks or renew the agreement based on mutual consent.

• Proper Credit

• Artist Attribution: We have a clear agreement to properly credit our artists for every artwork used in our products. This ensures that their contribution is recognized and celebrated in all our products.

Royalties

Royalty Payments: Our artists receive royalties ranging from 5–20% per item sold. This ensures that they benefit financially from the commercial success of their work.

Privacy Considerations

Respect for Privacy: The privacy of our artists is paramount. We understand that some artists may prefer to keep their identities private, and we respect their wishes by not disclosing their personal information without consent.
